The Kilburn

Melbourne (Show Map)

The Kilburn occupies the ground floor of the heritage-listed 'Commercial Bank of Australia' building, an impressive Italianate-style rendered brick structure standing proudly at the intersection of Burwood and Glenferrie Roads. Designed by architect Mr. E.G. Kilburn, the building is on the register of the national estate and has always boasted a magnificent exterior.

In November 2016, the interior was refitted to ensure it was comfortable, cosy, and luxurious, appealing to all senses and providing the perfect backdrop for a night out. The Kilburn, once home to one of Melbourne’s most famous cigar bars, Baranows Lounge, still boasts one of the best whisky collections in Australia, just without the smoking inside anymore.

With space for up to 200 guests, there are plenty of comfortable spots to sip on a cocktail or enjoy a lively evening.
