What we love about this venue

We love the bush tucker experience at this eco resort

  1. Fraser Island is an incredible island,? it is magic. We caught the boat from River Head to Fraser Island, with dolphins cascading across the water. We arrived at Kingfisher Bay Resort to be greeted by a seafood platter, followed by a guided tour of the property, some of which is being refurbished. We saw a private space used for group dining near the beach and featuring dishes inspired by bush tucker matched with Queensland wines. Flames of Fraser offers a four-hour fireside dining experience. We also had a 4WD tour during which we saw whales.

  2. I was impressed with the relaxed feel of the resort and the warm location. I enjoyed exceptional hospitality with a detailed itinerary for the two days. The whale tour was the experience of a lifetime. The dining, accommodation and conference venues at the resort were outstanding, with easy access to the island via ferry from Hervey Bay.
