Sydney Observatory – An Unforgettable Event Location

From 12 Mar 2019 To 31 Dec 2019

Offer ends in:

Sydney Observatory is housed in a beautiful heritage-listed sandstone building high on Observatory Hill in the historic Rocks district. Built in 1858, Sydney Observatory is Australia’s oldest observatory and one of the most significant sites in the nation’s scientific history. Recognised as place of ‘state significance’ by the New South Wales Government, the Observatory functions as a museum and public observatory with an important role in astronomy education and public telescope viewing.

Each year during selected dates in Spring and early Summer we have a 20m x 10m marquee in the beautiful gardens of Sydney Observatory available for hire. The stunning view from the marquee site spans the vista between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Anzac Bridge. The transparent marquee walls allow guests to enjoy this panorama over dinner for up to 150 guests or cocktails for 200, perfect for weddings and festive season events.

Available from 9 September to 15 December 2019, and 7 September to 13 December 2020.
