Trippas White Group begins new chapter

The group has a number of venues and a possible name change in the pipeline.

Trippas White Group has opened the first of two new Sydney CBD venues, heralding a new era for the hospitality group.

Inspired by a New York supplier club, Esquire Drink + Dine brings top-shelf spirits, cocktail and food to the Queen Victoria Building in a dark, moody setting.

At the venue’s official launch on 2 May 2019, Trippas White Group managing director Joseph Murray said Esquire is an exciting addition for Sydney’s nightlife.

“You can come here and eat what you want, you can drink what you want,” he said.

“You can have a long lunch during the day, you can have your dinner and drinks pre-theatre, you can come post-theatre, if you’re one of those people at night who can’t go to sleep because you watch Netflix, I want you to come here so you can talk to your friends about Game of Thrones.”

The group’s second QVB venue, Reign Champagne Parlour & Bar, will officially be unveiled on 15 May. Reign features plenty of natural light, soft pink hues and an extensive list of Champagne and sparkling wines.

The two venues mark a new era for Trippas White Group, which has a number of venues and a possible name change in the pipeline.

“I want everyone in this room to watch this space because over the next couple of months, we will be launching more venues,” said Murray.

“We’ve come to the maturity that we say to ourselves maybe we have to look at ourselves and what we represent in our name. So there may be a name change in the very near future. It’s absolutely so exciting for our group.”

The two venues follow on from Trippas White Group’s newly launched event venue at Sydney Opera House, The Yallamundi Rooms.
