For an event venue with a point of difference, let Forum Melbourne wow you and your delegates with its historic charm and bold architecture.
Located on Flinders Street in the CBD, Forum Melbourne has recently undergone a meticulous restoration and extensive refurbishment.
While its event capabilities are modernised, the venue’s rich history remains in the striking 1920s mosaic floor, original marble staircases and famous stage.
Culinary offering at Forum Melbourne
Forum Melbourne executive chef David Ricardo comes to the role with more than 20 years’ experience in Melbourne and Hong Kong’s top restaurants (Chin Chin, Pearl).
Having previously won two chef’s hats as head chef at Pearl and having hosted The Age Good Food Guide Awards for two consecutive years, Ricardo believes event dining should echo the same level of passion and quality that Melbourne has come to expect from its restaurants.
Together with the Marriner Group Catering team, Ricardo strives to offer event guests something truly outside the norm.
“We’re a bunch of dedicated chefs, we love food and want to match it to your event with a menu specifically designed for you and your clients,” he says.
“We’ll take the time to meet with you and discuss your requirements, then develop a menu that will exceed any expectations.”
Event spaces with charm
Forum Melbourne’s event spaces can be utilised for cocktail events of 400 to 1500 people and dinners for 250 to 520 guests.
Forum I, with its mesmerising proscenium and one of Melbourne’s most famous stages, benefits from a large unobstructed floor space with adjustable flooring at the rear.
Meanwhile, the foyer and mezzanine areas are split over two levels and can host up to 300 guests for pre or post cocktail receptions or as a VIP area.
