Sydney will welcome a brand new event centre this year, when Crown Group opens the doors to the Infinity Convention Centre.
Set to open in quarter four, the centre is part of the $575 million Infinity by Crown Group mixed-use development, located in Green Square in Sydney’s inner-south.
With capacity for up to 430 delegates, the latest AV equipment, ergonomic seating and large-scale kitchen facilities, Infinity Convention Centre is poised to become a popular venue for domestic and international events.
According to Wayne Taranto, Crown Group director of hotels and suites, the venue will set a new benchmark for events in Sydney.
“The new Infinity Convention Centre will provide a much-needed new space for sophisticated conferences, business functions, parties and weddings, in the heart of Sydney’s newest residential and commercial precinct, Green Square,” he said.
“It will attract the best events from around the world, with event managers drawn to this exciting, attractive new space, made more appealing because of its ease of access, with the airport and city so close by and the added bonus of having more than 20 new retail stores, cafes and restaurants nearby.”
The event spaces on offer will cater for classroom-style events for up to 65 people, cocktail events for 450 people, sit-down dinners for 370 people and auditorium events for 430 people.
The 20-storey Infinity by Crown Group also comprises 326 luxury apartments, a 90-room hotel and retail and dining outlets.
Headlining the dining precinct is a new Butcher and The Farmer concept, led by celebrity chefs Will Stewart and Steve Flood.
