Sydney venue Bopp & Tone recently played host to the Time Out Sydney Food Awards, serving up premium food and beverages alongside live entertainment for the annual event.
Located at Wynyard Park in Sydney’s CBD, Bopp & Tone welcomed 250 Time Out readers, media, influencers and hospitality heavyweights who gathered to celebrate the industry’s best.
The venue partnered with Time Out for the awards, engaging with them early on to plan the event set up, floor plan, event flow, food and beverages and operations.
The team at Bopp & Tone opted for multiple food and drink stations for the event to ensure guests could roam freely throughout the restaurant.
The kitchen team created a custom canapé menu and grazing stations, which included a selection of cheese, charcuterie and antipasto.
Chefs were on hand to interact with guests at the live oyster shucking station, while a selection of premium canapés roamed the venue.
Among the menu highlights were quail egg benedict with spanner crab and Avruga caviar, chargrilled Wagyu striploin sauced with béarnaise, slow-cooked lamb shoulder rolls and spiced eggplant turnovers with pistachio and saffron labneh.
The bar pumped out gin and tonics with Whitley Neill gin, plus wine and beer was flowing all night.
Bopp & Tone’s private dining room was utilised for the interactive photo booth, which was a hit with guests.
Former MasterChef contestant Khanh Ong was the event’s MC, leading the program which included nine awards that were presented to cafés, restaurants, chefs and legends. Once the awards were complete, live band performances kept the crowd dancing well into the night!
