The A LIST Guide team were invited to experience the hotel's event facilities.

If you host a lot of events in Sydney, you may think you’ve seen the city from every angle. But until you’ve seen the view from the 41-storey Fraser Suites Sydney, you really haven’t.

Breathtaking views were just the beginning when we checked into Fraser Suites Sydney, located on Kent Street, for their event showcase evening recently.

After a simple check-in process at reception, we settled into our apartment room, complete with kitchen facilities, spacious living and dining areas and of course, spectacular views of the city.

Inside the one-bedroom apartment

We ventured down to the Mezzanine on level 10, where we were treated to Champagne and canapes by the hotel’s talented culinary team. Already we were falling in love with the hotel.

The Mezzanine space offers a relaxed setting for up to 50 people, perfect for an informal gathering, private dinner or pre-dinner cocktail.

Moving up to level 11, next we explored the two Liverpool meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 20 delegates in each or 50 combined. Also on level 11, two versatile boardrooms are on offer, fitted with all necessary AV equipment for a seamless meeting.

After more samples of the food and beverage menus, we headed up to level 12 to explore the Kent Rooms, which had been expertly styled by the experienced team at This Space.

The subtle, elegant styling showcased the versatility of the two meeting spaces, which can be combined into one main room for up to 140 guests with an adjoining pre-function area.

The Kent rooms really are the star of the conferencing show at Fraser Suites Sydney, offering natural light, high ceilings and contemporary furnishings.

The Mezzanine

The culinary team continued to showcase their talents, offering up a range of substantial canapes and a dessert station too good to resist.

For a final surprise, the Fraser Suites team whisked us up to one of the hotel’s two split-level penthouses to experience the level of luxury and sophistication the property can offer for corporate groups.

With floor-to-ceiling opening windows, the penthouse is the best spot to take in the spectacular city lights. The penthouse suites can be hired for events, offering an exclusive space for intimate events or post-conference cocktails.

Styling by This Space

Fraser Suites Sydney offers 201 rooms in total, including studios, one- and two-bedroom suites and two- or three-bedroom duplex penthouse suites.

The apartments aim to provide a home-away-from-home experience, with kitchen facilities, washer and dryer, Malin+Goetz amenities, Nespresso machines and complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the hotel. Other guest facilities include a newly refurbished fitness centre with on-site personal trainers, as well as a sauna and heated pool.

We were completely blown away by what the CBD hotel can offer for corporate events, whether it be an intimate dinner, full-day conference or post-event cocktail reception.
